Why this order
The zones run from the most visible spot to the least, because the counter sets the look of the room and the shower and closet absorb what you remove. Sorting first and buying after means you measure real gaps instead of guessing. If a zone still overflows, you probably own too much, and the fix is less stuff, not more shelves. Renters can do every step here without drilling.
